About CPI

Computer Partners, Inc. is a service company dedicated to helping customers achieve their operational and data objectives. The Company focuses on three areas: network design & support, software development, and computer support.

The business began in 1989 as a software development company. During its early years, CPI developed several software products for state government and law firms. Between 1996 and 2000, CPI expanded its operations to include networking and computer support. The Company also opened a state-of-the-art service center for diagnosing, repairing and upgrading computers.

To meet market demand for technologically advanced network professionals, in 2001 CPI formed a network division, hired a experienced and professional Systems Engineer to lead our network team, instituted a program of continuing education, and required our engineers and technicians to attain appropriate industry certifications. Why? To stay ahead of the curve. Since then, our staff has achieved more than 20 certifications including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), A+, Network+ and Security+.

By the end of 2002, Computer Partners, Inc. had become a regional leader in computer networking, support and service. Throughout the expansions of its network division, CPI’s software division continued as leading edge innovators in software development. In 2003, CPI began creating a new generation of Criminal Justice software using C#, Microsoft’s Visual Studio.net®, and Microsoft SQL Server. The Company’s Law Office Information System (Lois) was released in 2006, its new worthless check software (C-RAE®) was released in 2007, and its new restitution recovery software is scheduled for release in 2009.

Over the years the CPI’s engineers have designed and installed numerous networks – from small single server installations to multi-server, wide area networks. They understand the importance of balancing operational needs and security with financial resources. And every day, CPI provides proactive support of local and wide area networks running Active Directory, NDS, Exchange, BlackBerry Enterprise Server, SQL, VPN, Terminal Services, and a sundry of security services.

Computer Partners’ network division serves a variety of vertical markets including Healthcare, Government, Manufacturing, Construction, Legal & Professional, and Automotive. Although CPI is in the business of networking and software development, its customers will tell you that CPI sells solutions that reduce downtime, increase productivity, and provide piece of mind so that they can focus on their business.
